ENVIRO-Z™

ENVIRO-Z™ is the professional-grade solution for rapid response to hazardous chemical spills. Its all-natural mineral blend simultaneously absorbs and buffers corrosive liquids — turning dangerous releases into dry, sweepable solids that are easier, safer, and less costly to dispose of.

What is ENVIRO-Z™?

ENVIRO-Z™ is an all-natural mineral absorbent and neutralizer for corrosive chemical spills — acids, bases, and aggressive chemicals. It absorbs on contact, leaving no free liquid and no slippery residue, and its proprietary mineral formula buffers pH, converting D002 corrosive waste spills into landfill-ready solids.*

Ideal for maintenance teams, HAZMAT crews, laboratories, and industrial facilities, ENVIRO-Z™ puts you back in control when seconds matter. Stock shakers at workstations and keep bulk bags on hand so you can pour, neutralize, and move on. Per its cut sheet, its high internal surface area delivers faster uptake with less product than perlite or traditional neutralizers.

*Disposal regulations may vary by location.

What chemicals does ENVIRO-Z™ treat?

ENVIRO-Z™ stabilizes and immobilizes battery acid, muriatic acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, caustics, chlorine, alkaline solutions, ammonia, detergents, bleach, Drano, and bases — corrosive waste spills carrying RCRA waste code D002.

  • Battery, Muriatic, Sulfuric & Hydrochloric Acids
  • Caustics · Chlorine · Alkaline · Ammonia
  • Detergents · Bleach · Drano · Bases

Not for use on hydrofluoric acid

ENVIRO-Z™ is NOT for use on hydrofluoric acid. The package label also carries a caution: eye irritant. Contact Fluid Tech for handling guidance before deploying on an unfamiliar chemical.

Why choose ENVIRO-Z™ over perlite or traditional neutralizers?

Per its cut sheet, ENVIRO-Z™ is more effective than perlite or traditional neutralizers: high internal surface area delivers faster uptake with less product, and it both captures the spill and buffers its pH in one step.

  • Neutralizes corrosive acids & bases — proprietary mineral formula buffers pH, converting D002 hazardous spills into landfill-ready solids*
  • Quickly captures & immobilizes — absorbs on contact; no free liquid, no slippery residue
  • Non-toxic & chemically inert — classified only as a nuisance dust (per cut sheet)
  • Non-flammable & non-reactive — will not burn and will not react with oxidizers or flammable materials
  • Fast, simple cleanup — shake, spread, sweep: absorbed waste is dry and stable for easy collection and disposal*
  • Made in the USA — consistent quality, ready for your shop, plant, or emergency kit

*Disposal regulations may vary by location.
