General information
One of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy describes the information that Fluid Tech LLC collects on www.fluidtechllc.com and how we use it. We are a United States company serving customers in North America, Europe and Asia, so this policy is written to meet the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as well as United States law. Fluid Tech LLC is the data controller for the information described here. If you have questions, contact us at info@fluidtechllc.com or write to Fluid Tech LLC, 146 Industrial Park Road, Sweetwater, TN 37874, USA.
Information you send us
Document downloads. When you download a product document PDF — a cut sheet or a Safety Data Sheet — we ask for your email address, and we record which document you requested and the page you were on. We use this to follow up about the products you're researching. These submissions are processed for us by Formspree, Inc. Every cut sheet and Safety Data Sheet is also published as a readable web page on this site, free and without providing anything.
Contact form. When you send a message through the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide. Like document downloads, these submissions are processed for us by Formspree, Inc. Formspree also records basic technical details with each submission, such as the IP address it was sent from and the time, and applies its own spam filtering.
How we use your email. We use the email address you provide to follow up about the products you're researching. Bulk marketing emails identify us and include a way to opt out. You can also stop email from us at any time by replying to any message or writing to info@fluidtechllc.com, and we will stop. We keep contact information only as long as it's useful for the business relationship.
Log files
Like nearly all websites, this site's traffic is logged. Our host, Cloudflare, Inc., keeps standard server logs of requests to this site — all hosting companies do this as a part of hosting services' operations. The information in these logs includes:
- Internet protocol (IP) addresses
- Browser type and Internet Service Provider (ISP)
- Date and time stamp, and pages requested
This information is used for security and site operations.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use this site — which pages are read, which documents are downloaded, whether a contact form was submitted, and the general region visitors come from. When it runs, it stores first-party cookies in your browser (named _ga and _ga_ followed by a code) and sends usage data to Google, which processes it as our analytics provider. Google states that Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses; the address is used to derive an approximate location and is then discarded. We never send your name, email address or the content of your message to Google — an analytics event records only that a form was submitted, or which document was requested, never who you are.
Your choice. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google Analytics is off until you choose "Accept analytics" in the notice that appears on your first visit; nothing is sent to Google before that, and choosing "Reject analytics" keeps it off. Elsewhere it runs by default. Wherever you are, you can switch it on or off at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page, which also clears the Google Analytics cookies when you withdraw consent. We remember your choice in your browser for one year and then ask again. You can also install Google's opt-out browser add-on to stop Google Analytics on any site you visit.
What is stored in your browser.
_gaand_ga_<id>— Google Analytics; distinguish one visitor's sessions from another's; kept up to two years; only set after you accept (where consent is required) or until you reject.__cf_bm— Cloudflare, which delivers this site; tells automated traffic from real visitors; strictly necessary; expires after 30 minutes.ft-consent— your analytics choice, so we don't ask again; kept one year; never leaves your device.ft-geo— whether the cookie notice applies to you, so we don't check on every page; kept for the browser session only; never leaves your device.ft-cutsheet-unlocked— set once you've requested a document so the form doesn't ask again; never leaves your device.- A session-only flag on the homepage so a "questions?" prompt isn't repeated; never leaves your device.
Cloudflare performance measurements. Cloudflare also collects aggregate page-performance data such as load times. These measurements use no cookies and are not used to identify you.
What we don't do
- We do not run advertisements or advertising trackers, and we do not let ad networks collect data here.
- We do not sell your information, and do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing.
- We do not build profiles of individual visitors, follow you around other websites, or make automated decisions about you.
- Apart from Google Analytics as described above, pages don't load fonts, scripts, or images from third-party content networks — everything is served from our own site.
- We share information only with the service providers named in this policy (analytics, form processing, website hosting), who act on our instructions.
Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
Where the GDPR or equivalent law applies, we rely on the following bases:
- Consent for Google Analytics cookies. You can withdraw it at any time from Cookie settings in the footer; withdrawal doesn't affect what was processed before.
- Legitimate interests for keeping the site secure and working (hosting logs, bot detection) and for responding to and following up on your inquiries.
- Taking steps at your request before entering into a contract when you ask for a quote, a document, or product advice.
Where your information goes
We are located in the United States, and our service providers — Google LLC (analytics), Formspree, Inc. (form processing) and Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting and delivery) — process information there. For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland this is an international transfer. Google and Cloudflare are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, its UK extension and the Swiss–US Data Privacy Framework; where a provider is not certified, transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the UK equivalent. Each provider's own privacy policy, linked below, describes its safeguards.
Third party policies
Our Privacy Policy does not apply to other websites or to our service providers' own sites. Thus, we are advising you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third parties for more detailed information about their practices, including instructions about how to opt out of certain options: Google (analytics), Formspree (form processing), and Cloudflare (hosting and delivery).
Your rights and choices
Wherever you are, you can email info@fluidtechllc.com — putting "Privacy request" in the subject line helps us route it — to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We respond within one month and honor the request unless we're required to keep something (for example, records of a transaction). We may need to confirm you control the email address in question before acting. To stop marketing email, use the opt-out link if the message has one, reply to any message asking us to stop, or write to the same address.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland you also have the right to restrict or object to our processing, to receive the information you gave us in a portable format, to withdraw consent at any time (for analytics, use Cookie settings in the footer), and to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. We would rather hear from you first, but that right is yours regardless.
How long we keep things
We keep inquiries and document requests as long as they are useful to the business relationship, and delete them on request. Cloudflare's hosting logs are retained for a short period for security and operations. Google Analytics data is retained under the retention period configured in our Analytics property (at most 14 months for event-level data), after which Google deletes it. Your cookie choice is kept in your browser for one year.
Scope
This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to www.fluidtechllc.com with regards to the information that they share and/or that we collect here. It is not applicable to information collected offline or via channels other than this website. This site is intended for business audiences, is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Update
This Privacy Policy was last updated on September 22, 2026, when the cookie notice was added and the sections on legal bases, international transfers and your rights were expanded. If our data practices change, we will update this page and this date.
